When it comes to organization and pre-travel prep/planning, they get an A+.
However, we had some issues with our rooms. While the room in Makkah was acceptable, the one in Madinah was a huge disappointment. It was nothing close to the 5 stars boasted by the hotel. It was supposedly “close to the Haram”. However, being “two steps” away from the haram, (& having a horrible view), but half a mile away from the main entrance to the mosque isn’t exactly ideal. The room itself was... basically falling and breaking apart- literally. What added insult to injury was that we tried reaching out to the organizers about our concern, but our calls fell on deaf ears, unfortunately.
Definitely recommend DST for someone looking for good organization, but would suggest trying to guarantee good rooms-before being stuck with a bad one and nobody caring about it.
